17 – Performance practice in the music of Mozart from The Cambridge Companion to Mozart

Levin devotes a few pages to ornamentation, Cadenzas, Lead-ins and Fermatas. There is a clear description of which ornaments were conventional and how they were notated.

And an example of Ployer's embellishment of a piano concerto. Barbara Ployer was one of Mozart's pupils.
